I always mention “becoming a better parent”, and I always assume people understand it how I understand it. There were instances when some thought I was trying to belittle some parents by suggesting to be better than them. No, I mean better than yourself yesterday because there is always room for impovement, especially when you are a parent. I have done a lot of things I regret now, but I am not doing them anymore now that I know better. And we all should try to be better when we know better, because our children deserve the best we can offer them. Let’s not disappoint them.
